We take hot chocolate mixes with us whenever we go skiing (which is, by the way, the best sport ever). Since we usually don’t have time for hot chocolate when eating lunch (we’re always desperate to get back on the mountain!), we make it to drink on the way home. There’s really nothing better than some hot chocolate when you’re tired and a little cold.
This year, I’ll definitely be bringing this ‘double chocolate’ hot chocolate. That’ll be even better.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons milk powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 tablespoon chocolate chips (make sure chocolate chips are frozen)
6-10 mini marshmallows (optional)
¾ cup hot water
In a coffee grinder, or in your electric mixer, combine the milk powder, sugar, cocoa, and chocolate chips. Blend for about 15 seconds, until the mix has formed a powder.
Add the marshmallows.
Store in a small food and bread bag or a plastic airtight container until you’re ready to make it.
